Harvest Metropolitan Community Church is a spiritual home affirming our connection to the Divine. Our values are:

2. Each individual's journey of faith
3. The continued growth of each individual
4. A diversity of worshipful experiences
5. Servant based leadership with integrity

  Our History
Harvest MCC first met on October 30, 1985 as a group of Bible Study students. The name "Harvest" was selected from a song by the Imperials entitled, "Lord of the Harvest." In 1988 we became a parish extension and held Sunday evening worship services at the Unitarian Church. Student Clergy and Deacons from MCC Dallas (now known as MCC of Greater Dallas) came to Denton and led our worship services. In February of 1990 we called our first Pastor, Rev. Colleen Darraugh; it was a mighty step of faith since the church had only 11 official members at the time! As we reached out to the children of God, our young church grew at an inspiring rate. Today, we are still growing and still commited to the goals that began Harvest.
